Internship and Volunteer Program
At the Yellow Farmhouse, interns work alongside leading educators, farmers, and food entrepreneurs to explore a wide range of career paths within the food system.
Our internship program empowers students in making positive decisions that support their health, the health of the environment, and the health of their communities. By teaching youth programs, working on a sustainable micro-farm, and educating consumers about local foods, interns develop skills to move confidently towards a career aligned with their interests. In addition to gaining hands-on work experience, interns participate in a staff development program designed to expand their knowledge of concepts such as regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and food justice.
The application period for summer 2024 has closed. Please check back after the new year for next summer’s application. For more information, contact info@yellowfarmhouse.org.
