Our Young Cooks & Farmers program invites children ages 6-11 to explore sustainable farming practices and seasonal cooking. For younger children, Storytime on the Farm offers a delightful experience for kids ages 3-7 and their caregivers to gather or a charming story, a fun nature activity, and a farm-fresh snack.

Calling all aspiring young chefs, ages 7-11, to join the COMO and Yellow Farmhouse Education Center for an exciting multi-week series of hands-on cooking classes. Throughout the program, chefs will explore essential cooking techniques, from knife skills and "mise en place" to learning different cooking methods such as sautéing, baking, and grilling. Each week, young chefs will build confidence in the kitchen, experiment with fresh ingredients, and create delicious meals to enjoy and share.

Our Young Cooks & Farmers program invites children ages 6-11 to explore sustainable farming practices and seasonal cooking. Young participants will work alongside farmers and culinary educators to grow, harvest, and cook fresh produce, all while learning about the importance of regenerative agriculture. Young Cooks & Farmers takes place over eight weeks starting on July 1 until August 28; $50 per day.

Churn up flavor with homemade ice creams and sorbets. We’ll use late summer produce to make tried and true favorites like peach ice cream and raspberry sorbet, and experiment with new flavors like sweet corn and basil.
